36 weeks

I can't believe I haven't wrote in my blog since I was 18 weeks! Why have I been slacking! Oh well. Not a whole lot has happened or changed lately. But Blake is getting bigger and stronger! He moves around like a mad man! His favorite place is my ribs, boy does that feel great! I really can't believe I only have 4 more weeks until my sweet baby is here. Everyone told me how fast it goes by, I never thought 9 months of getting fat would go by fast, but it sure did.  I've kind of had a crazy couple of days. I've been contracting a lot and cramping, but I've never been so grateful for Jeff. He's been so amazing and loving toward me. He's been so great with trying his best to make me feel comfortable. I'm so lucky to have such an awesome husband!

How far along:  36 weeks
Maternity clothes:Yes! I feel like all my pre-pregnancy clothes are going to be ruined with how much they're getting stretched out!
Stretch marks: No, let's hope it stays that way.
Sleep: What is sleep? ha I seriously cannot sleep. Jeff says I keep him up all night because I move around so much.
Best moment this week:  Going to Cafe Rio with Jeff. I love Cafe Rio, and spending time with my hubby!
Have you told family & friends: Yes!
Miss anything: Sushi, sleep, putting on my own shoes, my old clothes. I miss lots of things nowadays lol

Morning sickness:  Nope.
Movement: Oh my goodness yes, Blake is like all sorts of cray cray! But I love feeling him move around, as long as it's not in my ribs!
Food cravings: Recently, I've just been craving liquids. Like orange juice and lemonades. Yum!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nopeee
Have you started to show yet: Just a little bit! haa
Gender prediction: Boy!
Labor signs: I've been cramping a lot lately, and I've been contracting, but irregularly.
Belly button in or out: OUT! Yuck.
Wedding rings on or off: Off, my ring literally goes to my knuckle.
Happy or Moody most of the time:Prolly moody, just because I haven't been feeling my greatest though. But today Jeff told me, the worse I feel the nicer I am. ha I don't know about that, but that's what he thinks! ha
Looking forward to: Meeting my Blake!!

How far along:  18 weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes, my mom just ordered me 2 pair of maternity jeans. A pair of Miss Me's and True Religion, She's the greatest!
Stretch marks: No, let's hope it stays that way.

Best moment this week: Finding out we're having a baby boy!! We're so excited!
Have you told family & friends: Yes!
Miss anything: Sushi! I've been craving it lately. Maybe it's because I can't have it, that I want it more.
Morning sickness:  Nope. The only thing this week was when I fainted at work! Which was scary. My vitals all came back fine, my doctor said he thinks it was because I was in my ultrasound for so long, then I got up and was on my feet right away, so my blood pressure was low? I'm not sure, he just said I was healthy! So that's good!
Movement: Not from the outside, just kind of little flutters or the way I describe it is like popcorn! ha
Food cravings: Chicken wings! I want them every second, of every day!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Mainly just frozen foods still.
Have you started to show yet: I sure think so!
Gender prediction: Boy! And I was right!!!
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On, still looser
Happy or Moody most of the time: MOODY! I was doing so good with being happy, but I am moooooooody now!
Looking forward to: Feeling Blake kick!

Week 13

So as most people know, Jeff and I are pregnant! We couldn't be happier! We know we're young, and we know we haven't been married for long, but we so excited to start our family together. I've actually had a lot of customers at work comment on it, saying things like, "Are you ready for a baby?" or "Don't you think you're a little young?" But I've always been one to believe that you're never going to be ready for a baby. You'll never have enough money for a baby. You'll never be prepared enough for a baby. You'll never think your at the right age for a baby. You'll never know enough about a baby. The only thing that will prepare you for a baby, is a Baby! So on that note our baby is scheduled to arrive October 13th.

But I really wanted to be more consistent with blogging throughout my pregnancy (as silly as Jeff thinks it is) just to have something fun to look back on. So here we go!

How far along: 13 weeks, 1 day
Maternity clothes: My mom actually just got me a couple cute tops, a dress, and a belly band. I've gotten a chance to take a look at maternity clothes, and let me tell you, they are not cute! And I'll be the first to admit, that working at Buckle has turned me into a jean snob. I've looked at maternity jeans and refuse to wear them! Ew. ( I say this now, but I'm sure I'll have to give a couple months down the road)
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep has been pretty normal lately. I've been a way more tired than usual. But, besides that I've had normal sleep except for the nightly trips to the bathroom.
Best moment this week: Going to Sonic with Haley! I never get to see my best friend anymore, so when I do it's great catching up!
Have you told family & friends: Yes! We just let everyone know last week. It was killing me! I just wanted to shout it out and tell everyone!
Miss anything: My normal nose! I feel like everything is powered to the 249857209x's! It drives me crazy! If the smell doesn't make me want to eat it, or throw up, it gives me a headache.
Morning sickness: Not too much. The worst is brushing my teeth, that's what starts the gagging, then it leads to the toilet.
Movement: Not yet!
Food cravings: Garbanzo beans, Gatorade, and Jack in the Box tacos.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Anything garlic or oniony! Yuck! or freezer meals. Before I found out I was pregnant, I made 8 freezer meals just to put in the crock pot on days I worked late. And the minute I found out I was pregnant, I couldn't even look at them! They make me gag!
Have you started to show yet: Just a little bump, but little enough to make my jeans tighter!
Gender prediction: Boy
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On, it's actually looser
Happy or Moody most of the time: It's a good half and half. I feel like I'm all over the place. I honestly feel bad for Jeff. The other night he was doing homework all night and I went to bed crying asking him if he even loved me anymore because all he wanted to do was homework! ha
Looking forward to: Finding out what I'm having!!! My doctor won't do the gender ultrasound until I'm 18 weeks! So 5 more to go.

Today was my day off of work, so I decided to go down to the social security office to get my name changed. I was not looking forward to go down there and sit for hours. When I got there. I took my number. #307. They were just barley calling #279. Just lovely. So I sat down and tried to get comfortable. When they called the numbers, you could barley understand, it was so muffled. The man sitting next to me leaned over and asked, "Can you hear what number they are calling?" I replied that I could, and told him I would let him know when they reached his number. Me and this man (who did not have the nicest, cleanest appearance) started talking. He asked me if he was in the right place to get a new social security card, I told him he was and to further the conversation I joked about him losing his original. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't lose his card, that he was attacked recently. A man crushed his skull into the pavement and robbed him. He was in the hospital for weeks, and can't remember a thing. Now for those of you who don't already know, my amazing dad was just recently diagnosed with dementia, so this was kind of a touchy subject for me. He continued to tell me all about himself. He said he was from Paris, he grew up speaking French, English, and German. He was born at the biggest English hospital in Paris. He said the only reason he knew that stuff about himself, was because he had talked to his mother earlier, and she had reminded him. I told him how sorry I was for him, and how brave I thought he was. I told him I could empathize with him about losing his memory because of my dad. With the biggest smile on his face, this man shook his head at me and said "Don't you be sorry for me, or for your dad either. I am a man that believes that my body isn't me. I have a spirit inside of me. That spirit is me. My body is what isn't working how I would like it to, but my spirit is fine. And I know one day, I'm going to be perfect." Whose to say if this man was the same religion as I am, all I know is that I needed to be reminded that in regards to my dad. Apparently, I needed a random man to do it. People are definitely put into your life for a reason, whether to teach you something, to help you through something, or to remind you of something. Don't take these people for granted.

So I'm not quite sure if anyone has tried what I'm going to talk about today, but I would highly recommend it. Jeff and I moved into a little community awhile ago. On the way to our house, you go through a roundabout. There was one night that I was mad at Jeff (I'm sure about something silly), but with as stubborn as I am, there was no way I was going to give in. My lovely husband always knows what to do to push my buttons, so in his attempt to get me to laugh, he continued around the roundabout multiple times. That's when it happened, I fell in love with roundabouts. I was driving with my sister, Kennedey, one day and I wanted to allow her to experience the joy of roundabouts, so I did it. I drove around the roundabout many times. You just can't help but laugh when you do it. So as I was driving around my new obsession, I looked over and saw a security guard staring at us. He jumped in his car and started after us. Luckily, my 4-runner was faster than his little polaris. We escaped. Whenever you're in a bad mood, I highly suggest finding a roundabout. I haven't gone through the roundabout since then, but I'm tempted. Those security guards can't give tickets for that, can they..?

Married Life

So I've been married for almost 3 months now, I pretty much consider my self a veteran with this whole marriage thing. JOKE. But I will say that being married has been a lot of fun. It's so nice having Jeff around all of the time. But I will say, one of the downfalls with this whole newlywed thing, has got to be the money. Don't get me wrong we do pretty well and we aren't living paycheck to paycheck, but we can't go out and buy new furniture like what I would want to. Our couches are terrible! They are practically lawn chairs! If you sit in between the 2 cushions the metal bar with hit you in the tail bone! So to make my house more homey, my friend Cassey I went and got a huge rug, curtains, candles, and a lamp. What a difference! It looks so much better! Now to get rid of these couches...
